If u buy a low end comp (even the cheapest) only to play a buffbot u have a serious problem of social life n DAOC addiction.

Vosko (mincer): dropped 7 buffs
Celaa (mincer): 7
Wilddork (scout): 8 (the winner)
Yog(inf):6
Edelia(mincer): 7

These peeps died near my pwned corpse...so was able to see buffs dropping.
Conversly, I found the infamous Alpha alone and, I assume unbuffed, I died..but only after he paused the fight to IP and stuff....then I took him back down to 1/3health again before chewing dirt. I dont have IP or Purge so Ra's made the difference, damn good scrap though.
Buffbots are annoying, people who use em then assume they're uber are deluded.
However, mythic have allowed them to be used for the extra revenue, though I seriously doubt that buffbots and their effects in RvR were foreseen in the development of the game.
It's in the game and not a bug it seems...so you have to live with it.
So you either have to, get 1, get grouped all the time, or just /shrug when your killed by buffs not skill

I have 2 accounts, I don't spec my druid as a buff bot, I play her for fun and as I would any of my characters. I have used her on occasion as a rezzer or emergency healer if things are tricky but I have no intention on respeccing nurture when she hits 50.
If we had been given more character slots to begin with I suspect the trend would be lower, I know of a few rangers way back who used a buffbot to tag along when xping solo, guess people took the next logical step and decided to do it for rvr though :/

Admit it you can't win against a unbuffed person when you was unbuffed cause you are crap at RvR. So you went and got a buff bot to make you look good. How sad of you, its like the people who get two accounts and use one to spy on another realm which is also sad.


The buff bot nerf will come its just a matter of time then what will you do ?

What's a buffbot ?? If a guildmate of me buffs me before i go out in emain, is he a buff bot ??? No ...

If my Girlfriend plays with a cleric, sticks to me and buffs me , is she a buffbot ? No ...

If i use my GF account and buff my self, is it a buffbot ... No, but guess everybody will say yes now.

Total crap, this game is designed about this. You want those buffs ? Look for a guildmate, groupleader, or buy one.

since if this is cheating, then i find that all you stealthers are big cheat asses. You have the ability to stealth on me, close in and kill me almost with one hit, poison will do the rest, and NO buff will help me surviving ...

I dont think anyones tried to save that using buffbots is cheating...

I think players that set out to be good, but didn't realise that would be competing with people desperate and unskilled enough that they need to buy and additional computer and subscribe to 2 accounts just so they can compete.... (just think about that for a second, 2 pc's to play the same game lol)

Key is to mix up your gameplay... I do a bit of soloing, a bit of grping, a lot of raiding, a bit of XP'ing on my alt, and lots of item hunting...

If im soloing and I get attacked by someone who is obviously carrying buffs (brommix alpha etc...) I never consider dying a bad thing... I just chuckle when I think of these geeks and their 2 pc's....

Tdaer has always been hell bent on soloing.... and didnt use a buffbot for months... I can fully understand why after months of trying to compete with buffed players he got a buffbott...
Im just not into RVR enough for it to bother me....
(that and the fact that Mythic will fix this one day Im sure)
