Have any BT users been updated to the 2Mb yet?

Was announced that upgrades for existings customers would start in Feb...
I have not received so far.
Just wondering if anyone has, as they said they would be doing it area by area.

I have been upgraded to 2.2Mb from 512k... was a nice surprise when I woke up one morning I live in Staffordshire.

I honestly do hope that you guys have a genuine upgrade but when we had our upgrade information reach us, we realised that there was information about a limit being placed on our 'unlimited' service following our 4x upgrade. Remember nothing comes free in life and be warned that you too could end up being victim to this limit. Just make sure you have phoned up and are 100% CERTAIN about this. Naturally a sales tech will be avasive about such an issue if it is true much like a politician so be sure you get a direct yes or no answer if/when you decide to talk to them about it.

Afterall, if you're getting a 4x upgrade, you wont mind wasted a pound or so on talking to them right?

i have 2mb con from them, they upgraded it, but i have a 30gb/month limit, never hit it yet and had it since jan, but then i dont dl much, in any case, the limit is a pain because i just cant dl much, but other then that, the speed is nice , i live in, well, its on the bloody left!

I have the 30gb limit but as i dont download movies and such it dose not really bother me

i've just dinched 2mb BT broadband and ordered 4mb Homechoice.

4mb homechoice is roughly the same price as bT and i get 60 new channels.

too many kin Ld's this weekend and lag meter/ping plotter showing it as isp problem.
