I remember nvidia drivers used to cause a shitload of fuss... I used to have problems when putting new drivers on from XP's (minus SP1) default nvidia drivers... had to remove MY new drivers, get some file detonator bollocks to clear old drivers residue off and start again.. usually worked. I am thinking it's somehow related to that :)

Is this still happening Herbal?

I had a similar problem recently, which I thought was down to a recent change of sound card, but eventually it turned out to be some dodgy HP driver. I recommend logging in with an administrative account after a crash, and allowing the online crash analysis tool to report the error to Microsoft - that will automatically track and catagorise errors so it may even know what's wrong - worked for me anyway :)

Have a look at http://oca.microsoft.com for more info...
