If you're thinking Romans then you're in the wrong thread!

The Rugby World Cup starts tomorrow and our chaps will be beating the crap out of some Americans on Saturday (they have to leave their "football" padding at home).

Not followed the domestic game much over recent years so nice to see some recognisable names in our squad even though Catt & Lawrence Bruno Nero Dallaglio must be pushing 40 in the not too distant future.

Anyways, good luck to our boys, think we might need it!

Ben.

P.S. go go Billy Whizz

We'll lose miserably, it'll probably be either the French or New Zealand who win it, although I have a feeling the argies may do quite well.

Unfortunately Rokocoko has been dropped by New Zealand :(

Just tuned into the Argentina - France match. Looking good so far, hope the french get back into it because it's looking like an entertaining game, thus far.

*cracks open another Kopparberg*

*BUMP*

Just incase people here are on another planet, England have just beaten France 14-9 to reach their second consecutive World Cup Final!!

:england:

I was one of those doubters, and after the SA match you can see why, but I'm impressed with our two knockout game performances, should be a fantastic final next weekend!

Epic ending! the match was ugly to watch, but the sheer joy from beating France was amazing. From a team that's gone from being a national embarrassment to heroes again in a few weeks... all a bit too much.

Such a finish, really didn't think we could do it, there is no reason we can't win it now! :) :) :) 2 games as underdogs, 2 wins :england:

No one on here heard me say it but I did say I fancied the Argies to win the world cup, I said it to some bloke on my course.

Aaaaanyway FUCKING WELL DONE ENGLAND!!

I do have a question for Dys -

If SA get to the final will you

a. Support England
or
b. Support the losing side?

Is that a trick question? Both answers are the same.

All to play for..

Watching the England v Aussies game was fantastic, it was like watching a different team play the game. I was fully expecting to leave at half time as we were getting mullered, but the boys put in a great performance.

France game was messy - we shouldn't have given France the points we did (they were all stupid mistakes giving penalties).. but they pulled it out the bag and held back the French and made the points when they were needed ;D

Wilko does like to leave it to the last minute before he starts converting..

Methinks it'll be SA we play in the final.. hopefully our boys will go out there fired up and ready to play like they did against the Aussies..

Well, South Africa it is.

That must've been the first game of the tournament to go the way it was expected :s
