I think my monitor is broken
Whenever I move something across the screen I get a kind of tearing effect.
I can't take a screenshot but heres a reconstruction of what happens when I move a window to the left:
The faster i move the window the further apart the 2 halfs are.
This only happens at a certain height on the screen but the height at which the line appears moves around slowly. I can't get a screenshot so I assume it's a problem with the monitor itself.
It seems to happen at every resolution and refresh rate although it's more noticable at higher resolutions and lower refresh rates.
The monitor is a Iiyama vision master 1451 and according to their site all their monitors have a 3 year warranty. I got it about 2 years ago so i'm well within warranty. Should I just get it replaced or is it possible to fix it?
