Nah I ain't picking on one person but all of you and Mythic. Once they make a server available like on the US where buffs are only allowed in groups and TOA is no more then I will be in my element. My mate plays on the US servers and thinks it is wonderful compared to how things are over here. He gave up on our servers as he couldn't pay for 2 accounts and found the game imbalance impossible to overcome whilst unbuffed.
Makes total sense to me.
Edit: Rellik should return to Thid and meet the improved Thugs - Buffed Mercs are no prob now.

Well he gonna have to wait till I fix my main computer as it blew up on me. Only got the shite computer working now (tis why I am entertaining myself on here instead of playing). But will be nice to have a good target to aim for.

This monstrous Mid player with decorations at least a foot deep at his feet (yeah)
Try and try as he would he couldn't become the Thid King
Cos the decoration remained on Thug's right hand - dah King of Thid's Ring
So wot is this poem about?
Well there is a morale to about to come out
And that is to admit that there are some that excel
And the rest of you can go to HELL!

Yes, spotting the ship, and intercepting them while they trying to reach the keep. If parts of their zerg get killed over and over, you intercept them at a few places, and getting to alb land takes more time, many many people gets tired, and it can hurt the hib morale. If we have insta rvr and all action is at beno bridge, noone would spot the zerg of hibs moving from Berks to renaris. In your favorite insta rvr, you know that in a clock raid hibs and mids need just 1-2 fast keep takes to open a relic milagate instead of 3.
Insta rvr in the homeland is for the weaklings who are too lazy to earn anything, but want free "rewards" for the work of others even if it ruins the game for everyone else. Even if it means losing relic bonuses, or giving bonuses to enemies on long run. Parasites who hurt their mates instead of helping them.
Insta rvr in enemy places and placing pressure on enemies to make sure we gain foothold is for the brave, who get relics and can use it. You want lots of action? Bet on it, at first sign of "trouble" at Crauchon you would have lots of action, but some smart albs would attack somewhere else...

Playing a lvl 50 fully toa'd and fully ML'd character takes alot more skill then what you do. Doesn't matter what class.
Reasons!
1) You have more styles to choose from, each better in different situation.
2) You have artifacts with different abilities, each better depending on situation. Have to use the right one (My tic has 7 artifacts, 6 with charges that need to be carefully selected when to use. Total of 10 charges to pick from)
3) You have more RA's, have to know when the best time is to use them.
4) Enemy has more abilities to use, depending on tactics he uses you have to adapt.
5) You have many ml abilities, once again they on a timer so need to know when best to use them.
Want me to go on why it takes more "skill" then spamming anytime styles in thid while consta applying poisons and using heal pots? In this game there is not really skill. Skill in daoc = ability to apply knowledge of game and press a button. Aint skill in strictist sense
And how the fuck can you moan about a merc using DT when you use poison? Aint a straight melee fight if you use poison so why shouldnt they use their abilities?

Unfortunaly I dont own any Thidranki-twinks at the moment. Its not my primary interest to fight in Thidranki when I got a couple of level 50's which I enjoy playing. I mostly dont even bother going Thidranki with my chars - as in most cases its a zergfest anyhow.
Quite right. I shouldn't moan about DT. Just bringing to your attention what was required by this particular merc to kill me in this fight. Had killed me loads of times previously. I adapt though. In this fight I had her well and truly beat full stop. SC'd and Fully Buffed but still had to resort to DT to stay alive. I got no regrets cos all I do is make sure I fight better next time and find someway to negate the effects of DT. We are talking a deadly crush merc that knows how to play very well.
