brightness control program

can anyone tell me a program wich allows you to change the brightness of the screen? could be useful at nighttime in daoc too be able to see a bit more

What graphics card are you using
If you got a Nvidia based card they have options to adjust brightness etc.
Dunno any other makes of GFX cards tho

I had problems seeing where the feck I was going when I moved to a TFT a couple of years ago been using powerstrip since, works great and you can adjust it on the fly with hotkeys so you don't get blinded during daytime in Stygia

for ati cards there is the rage3d tweak tool that will allow you to change brightness ingame with hotkeys

i have a nvidea card and i had to make it alot lighter for camelot, only problem is the desktop is really light so anything white is blinding cant find an option to tweak both the game and desktop seperately

also if you goto google and type colour setup you can find sites that will tweak the colours for you

Radeon cards have a profile option for 3D environments. I have a load of profiles set up and use hot keys to change depending on whether I'm in Mid (snowy) or it's night time, or I'm in RvR....
