I don't really see what's left to do now? That could easily have been the last episode. The nazis are just going to get on with it, Jessie will be a slave for as long as they want and Walt's family are safe. Walt will die and that'll be that. Why even bother with more?
come on dude, spoilers just in case ;-)

But in answer to you, because it's Walt, and we know he doesn't like losing.

Why should I use spoilers? Anyone stupid enough to read this thread on new episode day without having seen said new episode is obviously a tit anyway.

Yeah, if anything he'll want to finish off Jessie if/when he finds out (from Todd?) that he's a Nazi slave (I love saying that).

The best internet chatter i've seen suggests it'll revolve around Jessies confession which is at Hanks house... along with Walt's family.

Never before have I wanted to see the antihero be victorious so badly.

I have been catching up on the whole S2-S5, and now I am up to date I can say use spoilers AND please state what series and episode they relate to... for tv threads I mean - it's been really awkward knowing where to read up to :D

I think we can safely say that we've been set up for an absolute beast of a finale...

Love how they used an expanded version of the intro music at the end, as if to say "here we go motherfuckers!".
Killing Andrea was a harsh message for Jesse, but he really should've thought about how they could use leverage to force him to cook. Just be thankful we didn't see Todd disappear into the house to off Brock too. :(

Jesse also didn't seem to give much thought to his escape plan.

That was really cool. It's hard to read now, which I like but
Based on Walt not being able to hire anybody to off the Nazi's I can only imagine that they want us all to believe this is going to end in a "storm the compound" manner at the moment with a "will he/won't he" kill Jesse twist. Though at the moment I'm leaning towards him killing himself with the Ricin and pinning the whole show on Jesse to try and free Skyler/Walt Jr since after being told "why aren't you dead" this episode, what has he got left?

I also thought it was really weird there was no funeral for Hank/Gomie?

I reckon it'll end on a cliff hanger with Walt aiming his gun at Jesse, after he's killed his old business partners off first..

And I think they've not had a funeral 'cos they're still looking for them?

I feel like the final moments are definitely going to be between Walt and Jesse, one way or another.

Imagine what those teachers think of Aunt Marie? "Wow, she sounds like a real *bitch*". :( :(

I just watched The Sopranos recently (for the first time :$), I was fucking gutted by that ending. I spent hours reading theories about what happened right after.

Personally, I loved the ending. It's not about what happens, it's irrelevant. It's that it'll just be piles more of the same old shit. People live and die and rob trucks and off rats. After several series, you don't *need* closure when there isn't really a proper story arc, you just need to end it gracefully and I think that's what they did.

Obviously a show like BB can't ever have that kind of ending, as the writers would be lynched. I'd join in.

Yup you're probably right. I watched it all back to back in August so I guess it was just a shock that they would choose to end it like that.

Television at it's peak. Truly sad it's all over, what to replace this with?

Maybe this isn't the place, but do try "Low Winter Sun". It features Mark Strong, and it gives me a "The Wire" vibe. Up to 8th episode, loving it.

Finally seen it. What a way to end it. Quite happy with that.

I loved the ending too. Breaking Bad is the second best TV show I've ever seen, I think.
