Regardless of SC armour being in or not. my minstrel was only 46-47 at the time she`s still not 50 because i hate albion.

Although Epic armour was in around then if im not mistaken.

Epic Armour made a huge difference over DF armour anyway. not only for the better AF but also in some cases decent resists.

not only that but i very much doubt you knew much about a majority of the class's in DAoC 5 months after release..

As explained in the thread, I knew how to kill a pair of casters with a minstrel back then. It was much easier since you didn't have to worry about resists and such.
I used to often kill orange cons with my minstrel.
