I'm currently watching the match - and Belgium have played by far the better football and had a perfectly good goal disallowed.

Now Belgium's one goal down

What I do think though - is if they (Brazil) play like this we'll beat 'em

I hate that shit where everyone seems to worship them.

They looked decidedly average today (and, frankly, throughout the world cup they've looked very beatable - and they've not had to play any really tough opposition).

Yes, they've got some very good players - but so has every other country in the world.

If they play like they did today, and we played like we did against Denmark (not including the last 15 mins) we'll put a fucking boatload past them.....

The main problem is that it's a "middle of the day" (I forget what time exactly) game and they will cope with the heat far better than we do (Re: Nigeria game). Depends how we go. If we can get goals (yes, plural) in early and we'll be OK... hopefully..

when I was watching it there seemed to be no urgency. they were just slowly passsing it around and then punting it into a corner for some geezer to cross it.

I did like the fact that straight from kick-off they passed it back to one centre back who hoofed it down the field to....... the other centre back!!! haha magic

Slight difference tho. Denmark are shit, Brazil aren't. I stand by my predicition of a Brazil Italy final.
