and whats the range on the bow

Just a quick clarification....

The Braggarts arrows increase is applied to the bow "base" range not the bows overall range.


RANGE.

Everyone probably knows this but I though there might be some new hunters around who don’t know this….

Range = Bow Base Range * Arrow Range Bonus * TOA Range Bonus

Dragon and Tuscarian bows have a base range of 1660 all other bows are 1600.
Normal footed arrows offer 25% range increase Braggart’s arrows are 30%
TOA range bonus (max 10%) can only be found on

Braggart's Bow 4%
Fools Bow 3%
Sun Bow 2%

Golden Scarab Vest 4%
Mariasha's Sharkskin Gloves 3%
Gem of Lost Memories 2%

Max range with Braggarts arrows and 10% TOA bonus is:
1600 * 1.3 * 1.1 = 2288 units

Absolute max range is with the Great Shadowed Impaler, Braggart's Arrows but only 9% TOA bonus can be obtained using it….

1660 * 1.3 * 1.09 = 2352 units (This is highest a Midgard player can get).


I could be wrong on the last calculation; someone told me max Midgard bow range was 2323…I’ll test this week.

Umm I forgot ML10 bow Duskwood Astral Bow of Dismay, has 2% range too.
