Hmm maybe its not only in America.
In a few European countries now all your phone calls are recorded, every internet site you visit and every email you send is logged.
You are being watched! All in the name of 'terrorist provention' of course.

Not so much as being stored, things are being monitored though, and not just in europe, it started in the US.

Well yes, but if he HAD decided to go on a zombie rampage and it was later revealed they knew of this story then all involved would be getting their asses sued to China and back.

Once you start suing everyone with a hundred yards radius when you stubb your toe, don't be suprised when they start taking the piss themselves.

look out binky they might come and get you for making threats towards cyborgs!!!!

seriously though if that kid did take it in to his mind to go shoot everyone in his school and that story was found people (being stupid as they are) would start a right old song and dance about "why wasnt this brought to peoples attention!!" etc etc, so tbh the poor sod was doomed from the start, wonder what would happen to stephen king if he was in shcool these days?

Hehe I heard 2 schoolkids from the UK are going to the US after their exams to break daft laws in each State; including (can't remember the States they apply to):

Cycling in a swimming pool
Whale-hunting in land-locked Iowa
Taking a nap in a cheese factory in Kentucky

amongst others.

This is all true. I wonder if the US cops will have a sense of humour?!

all the american cops are bumkins, apart from the major cities, and they are all gun shootin mofos.

" 10-4 the guy is 6ft2 180 lbs, he is holding a cucumber I REPEAT A CUCUMBER. he is walking with it infront of him, shit i think he must be trying to kill someone with it, we need back up, over"

" 10-4 on that cucumber the chopper is on its way and the army has despatched a tank to take him out".

... so in Kentucky it's illigal to write any text containing any highschool or police force? ;/ what can I say really. Isn't it a violation of his freedom of speech?

Damn that book would make a good movie.

A boy wrote a story about a highschool overrun by zombies and people thought he was only a terrorist....they were wrong and now an elementary school will face the horde....OF THE LIVING DEAD TEENAGERS!! WITH RADIOACTIVE THINGIES!

Actually i want to read the story. Any judge with half a brain would realise the kid was writing fiction if it read:

"...their coming closer, my 12 gauge with my last two shots. Gotta pray for a miracle. Two shots, three zombies. Still couldn't believe this could happen in real life. I mean, zombies, come on! If all else fails, the last shot is for me *BLAM!* One down, two left...hell, i'm not too keen on suicide *BLAM!*. Ok. Need a new plan, me against the dead guy... *WHACK!!*...damn, it worked. A blow in the head does the trick. Shouldn't have shot Ms. Richards as a zombie collaberator afterall...oh well, i'm free now. There's the door and...no. No way. It spreaded outside?! F*ck!"

Poole told LEX 18 that the whole incident is a big misunderstanding. He claims that what his grandparents found in his journal and turned into police was a short story he wrote for English class.

His grandparents turned him in? They read his journal? Uhm, they don't mean that do they? I can't truely believe that... I mean his grandparents? What the hell is going on over there? Do they all fear each other that much that they can't even talk about things in their onw families? :eek6:

The times when social education was done by other family members is long gone. This is the 21st century. We let the media educate our children. And if something goes wrong we blame the school/gouvernment.

I'm sorry for the kids. I am even more sorry for the adults that claim to be parents.

Time will show what this leads to.

Exactly what I was thinking :p

I'd guess the 'story' was pretty graphic and scared his grandparents. He's probably a goth so they're suspicious of him anyway and finding out he hungers for violence is all they needed to turn him in. So the story must be pretty gruesome, which is what you need in a good zombie movie :p

Where will the US go next? imo, forum flamers will end up on death row.

"STFU NOOB!! I'11 PWNZ UR A$$"
Will be enough to get someone arrested for intimidating and threatening behaviour...

This has nothing to do with intelligence, this has to do with money as always. Like most laws, they exist for the state to make money :\

Well americans are going through a shall we say scary time.... they have been waging war on the iraqs and now they are scared that they will attack them...

but from what i hear about american tv.. they are always scaring the public with rubbish.. apparently crime has been droping in america but the amount of guns purchased has been increasing ... sooo if the police received this they would think it was a threat and considering that there have been incidents with students killing other students :) and ye if they had not of acted and it became true i think some head rolling might of occurred:p
