christ I am bored as arse today lol! Have not actually spoken to anyone since I went shopping this morning, I was going to go to the cinema but 'twas so cold this morning when I was out and about I had to come home asap just to thaw out my toes.

Anyway, I suppose this is what one is supposed to do on xmas vacation, just sit about infront of the telly and eat leftovers? However, one day of doing nothing is more than enough for me so I am going to do 'something' tomorrow!!

How's your day been guys, anyone do anything other than watch tv and play with the video games they got yesterday?

Not spoken to anyone, feel like crap and bad guts. Stayed in bed most of the day and cuddled up to my Kindle. :D

Been on the sofa watching Family Guy and playing GT5, still in my jim-jams. Someone has rang the door bell twice and i couldn't be arsed to get up and answer it.

Now eating Percy Pigs and choccy

I am debating opening some Thorntons Continentals but I am not sure my guts are up to the job.

~Yar, pretty boring day. The Mrs & I have been staying in the warmth, watching Bing Bang Theory, pigging out on snacks & thinking of new years resolutions we won't keep

Any good? heard there isn't many books you can actually read on it, also seen the "fake" advert :( would be good if every book was on it..

Millions and millions of books available and it rocks, the screen is actually easier on the eye than reading from paper. Can happily say it is the best tech spend I have made in the last 4 years.

Other great thing is if you look at the screen from an angle, you can still see the text crystal clear.

Yep I have alot of classics but tbh once I got stuck into the entire David Gemmell back-catalogue I knew I was going to be busy for a few months. :D

I didn't get up 'til 1pm. Think alcohol wise I over-indulged until close to 3am.

Won at Trivial Pursuit though (oh such a rockstar lifestyle...)

I've always been interested in Kindles, I must check it out!

You can download plenty of pirated booked with no drm, just look for a drm version of the book you bought and grab a copy. I would consider that fair use imo.

Not a good screen for reading text off for much more than 10 mins, headaches will be inc rapidly. Also screen size, Kindle has the dimensions of a paperback, iphone does not.

So, I had a great Boxing Day, only just got back home around 3pm today.

Dinner and epic drinking session with my cousins last night, followed by a massive fry up this morning.

Spent all day puking, receiving an injection to stop puking and wrapped in like 3 blankets.

Oh! And playing DjHero till my eyes started crying :ninja:

On my calendar and diary it says that the 26th is Boxing Day and that monday is a bank holiday (as is today). Just because it falls on a Sunday, doesn't stop it from being Boxing Day, its just not a bank holiday

Actually it does. Your calander is wrong. Boxing day never fell on a sunday because it would have been illegal to do so. Boxing day is a Victorian holiday whereby charitable institutions distributed to the poor and Lords gave presents to their servents. That would have been unacceptable on a sabath. When the 26th of december falls on a sunday it is simply St Stephens day (the first Martyr after Christ), which usually coincides with Boxing day.
