Box Sets

The only boxsets I buy are of completed series, and I usually wait for 6-12 months after they've been released so i'm not been extorted!

For anime I usually get it imported from singapore from 1/4 the price I'd pay over here.

( that includes postage ).

Try and find a singapore online seller, they are usually region unlocked and have english audio and/or subs.

( by online seller i mean the singapore version of amazon stylee ).

Oh My God!

You've got to get them now before they all go!!!!

It might be worth investing in that Star Trek box set. I bet you could sell it on ebay 2 weeks later and make £100 easily.

Give it 18 months and you could rake in £500.

*Thinks about investing*

I buy TV box-sets quite often, got all the buffy / angel ones and the west wing, sopranos and csi oh and The Shield which is highly recommended with commentaries on every episode which is how it should be, the one negative of TV box-sets being that a lot of them can be short on the extras (the middle three I mentioned being poor on this).

Ono do you buy box sets for personal reasons, or as an investment?

Both.

If I can I buy two so that one funds the acquisition of the other then I will - if you see what I mean.

Dances with Wolves - cost to me £21 each.

Estimated proceeds on eBay to sell one = £40-£50.

Therefore I get mine free! ;)
