Anyone now of any good sites where I can get training bots from? It would be nice to get a bit of praccy in against bots before i go and make a fool of myself on the pubbies.

After playing against bots for an hour, don't expect it too be the same online
Not that the players will be any smarter than the bots, just that your dead eye shots that never miss on a lan, will suddenly disapear into a vast void that is called the player model online, who isn't actually placed where you are shooting, unless he's running in a straight line towards you, or standing still.
The only good thing being in cs, you do alot of standing still when your blatting at each other

online CS involves alot of crouching with powerful rifles.
not enough people online are good enough to rush through these stalemate situations and win, so it becomes a sand off bewteen people crouching =/
personally i use 3 main weapons:
the scout as a rifle. its accurate wheile moving, so none of this crouching bs. and the shotguns for up close.

it does ur right.i've only noticed this recently.just stand in front of ur oppo and jump up and down whilst shooting.i would have thought accuracy would have been way off but it aint it seems,except with the ak obviously lol.however ive recently tried strafing around the jumping guy with some sucess.this all leads back to q2 imo tho ,which is a shame as its MEANT to be diferent.

Indeed, just to prove the fact yesterday, about my aim and speed being kingping, but my single shot rounds not counting against nme that are just simpley not where im firing at when there moving sidewards. I whipped the old auto shotgun thingy out, i hadn't used it since it first got put into the game. Not to my suprise, i suddendly found out, here was nothing left to chance, this beast was actually killing people, corse this is due to the wide spray of the pellets, hitting the models in the true places not flying through the normal ghosts. I used no other weapon all game, barr the first 2 rounds, and only died 3 times, while whipping up 52 kills, just like the good old days, before all this prediction rubbish came in
Hail the auto spam cannon, i felt a complete twit using it, but as the game cheats me, ill carry on using it on certain levels
