Anyone still playing this game? I just picked it up over Xmas on the Steam sale, really getting into it now but I feel like I'm missing out as I have no bugger to play with in multiplayer mode. Fexed is my steamname so give me a shout if you fancy blowing some things up. Only level 5 I think so go easy :D

Ahh awesome, I should be around at some point over the weekend, probably Sunday.

Also are any of the four classes stand outish from the others? Ive made a sniper dude so far as its kinda what I play in most FPS these days but was wondering how the others compare?

I'm a hunter / sniper too. Specialising in pistols though. I'm on level 14, not tried the other classes yet.

I've been playing it a lot on the xbox. The Siren class is the one I mostly play, followed by the sniper. Which is probably the order of overpoweredness.

Don't think I understand the Siren class properly yet. She can phasewalk which is for... what, running away? You can't attack, the shockwave she sends out when reappearing is for minimal damage, and it seems pretty useless.

How should the Siren be played?

How should the Siren be played?

From what i googled about(youtube mostly), her strengths are speed, invisibility for some killing(some kind of shock touch) and to get out of tight spots.

Is that the game where you have to guide 2 gay men through a maze of Soho sex shops whilst trying to avoid Undead English Defence League Zombies in order to find the Legendary Double Dildo of Azeroth?

If so, played it.

The phasewalk is good for running away or covering distance, or repositioning yourself. At higher levels it can stun enemies when you leave and return.

The two types of build that work best are a Firefly build or a Mercenary build. Both are based around the class mod of the same name. Firefly concentrates on fire damage and the Phoenix ability while in close to cause lots of flaming death, which the Mercenary concentrates on lots of SMG damage, ideally with a Double Anarchy SMG which fires four bullets at a time.

SMGs are the best all round weapons - sirens specialise in SMGs

Also phasewalk means you never die

I've got her up to level 16, playing with a couple of mates, we have Brick and Mordecai.

I've been playing the Siren. I've found that in larger fights if Brick is taking a pounding from his running up and punching in the face technique if I run in (phasewalked) and drop out, I can grab the aggro off him.. also, now I'm a little higher than before, I'm finding the shockwave (and the fire jobbie) is actually dealing a little more damage. Phasewalk is also handy for running back to hand in the quests while the other start work on the next quest..

I was a little put off at first, but am starting to get the hang of her now... I'll look more into specialisation later on.

I have a level 40 soldier (single player) which is ace fun with the support soldier mod, never run out of ammo!! (I finished Dr Ned today, and started the arena one, but hated it, I'll think I'll skip over to the next DLC)
