Lou finally did her radio interview on Radio Kent today after the bomb attempts in London postponed it. You can download the mp3 here.

(She's gonna cringe at the fact I've done that but, meh, it's all publicity at the end of the day. :))

I put it up on the BBC webby and forgot all about it until I found out I was in the final stages

I remember we hammered that vote ;)

And rightly so too :)

Silverstone, just in the complex near the BRDC building. Funnily enough, I've just got back home from 2 days down there, filming the launch of this:

www.a1gp.com

Before you think 'oh no more boring racing cars', this is a world championship of motor racing. The teams include a Pakistani team, a Mexican team, a Libyan team, English, USA, Australia, France, New Zealand, China, etc....

So basically, you're not cheering on a particular driver - you're cheering on your country.

The cars sound very much like F1 cars, not as powerful at 550BHP IIRC, but they look stunning (all built by Lola, engines by Zytech I think). All the cars are the same, the teams can adjust wing and suspension settings. Its basically down to the mechanics, and the driver on the day. They all have 15 seconds of boost as well, useable whenever they like for a max of 15 seconds through the race. Should make for interesting finishes......

First race is in September at Brands Hatch. Should be broadcast on Sky Sports, I'll be doing the first three races of the calendar :) For my sake, go buy some tickets! Tell your friends!

Really big congrats Damini, well done! :)

If i didnt have a broken collarbone I'd go and get my GF a copy, speaking of which, is this likely to be enjoyed by a 27 yo girl who reads 3-4 books a week? Comparrison wise, she loves the HP books....

Oh and you might have a book deal but I still have the better cat :)

How are sales going? Or is it too early to say yet? I am visiting some friends with five children (ages 11-21) this weekend, so will be taking them all copies.

I think its going pretty well, all things considered (first time author and all). Its already on a second print, so those of you wanting a signed first edition should probably check in advance thats what your buying, if there's any left. I won't know solid figures for a while yet though. Certain shops still aren't stocking it (Sussex Stationers, WHSmiths...) and so I'm sure that will play a little part in affecting sales.

If any of you bought it from Amazon, and enjoyed it, you could always put a review up :)

So, when is the work at Casta De Arnold finished? I trust you have a two storey swimming pool built onto the bath built onto the bar built onto the master bedroom?
