Not wanting to hijacks Tom's thread made a new one. So decided to sell the old mtb and get myself a bmx. Now not really knowing much about bmx bikes was wondering if anyone in here does. Was thinking about getting a we the people addict. Any ideads people? :)

Well when I was younger I always wanted either a Diamond Back or a Mongoose, I did want a GT one but they were uber dear.

All of the above are still going and my mate bought his son a Mongoose the other day, it was £200 and by far the sexiest one in the shop. It was light and very well made so it looks like Mongoose still have the touch to me. It was a racing one rather than a stunt/jump one those bastards are damn heavy due to the reinforced bits.

I hope and wish you get a GT, that would make me *fap* but if not get a Mongoose or DB.

The Addict is an all-round bike, I think, so it'll be fucking heavy, and indestructible. As are all BMXs apart from racing frames. I'm sure it'll be awesome anyway, and they look cool.

Its apparently one of wethepeople's top selling bikes, so thats a pretty good sign its a good all-rounder.

I'm not really a fan of Generic Trash tbh but will give em a check out.
