BMAPC £650 - £700 (Build Me A PC)

Hiii Guys

So I'm trying to help someone on buying a new pc, but having not built my own in ages my knowledge now being limited I'm feeling a bit lost. Their budget is around 650 - 700 quid and have been looking around and around and not quite sure what components to buy or whether to get the system from a company like Dell etc.

Needs a monitor preferably 20" along with 5.1+ speakers. So any help would be great.

Also in a few months I'll be asking the same questions for myself but with a budget of 1500-1800... yes I'm splurging.

Games, but not expected to run Crysis on full settings. So average gaming rig. One thing that was spotted was something like this.

I got my current machine custom built by these guys: PCSPECIALIST.CO.UK - Custom PCs, Custom Computers, Custom PC, Custom Built Computers, Gaming PC

..this was after ordering a pile of bits from Overclockers UK, which failed to boot once assembled Unfortunately being all new technology I couldn't swap out components to fault-find, so I sent it all back and got someone else to do it for pretty much the same cost.
