Always wanted in a tank group as hibs best damage dealing tank. Not needed in a mage group unless u specced sheild high (gimping yourself imo).

Always played Casters or support classes myself, but rolled a BM got it to 50 & is deff fun to play:

Like a NS without steath but a lot tougher, CD styles rock imo:

Usual specc 50CD 50 Pierce/Blades 28 Parry, although a lot respecing to Blades atm seems its fotm but I'll stay with pierce for now :)

I am currently levelling a BM the old way, you know, groups?

Anyways, someone said last night i should go Blunt as it does more damage than blades. Is this true?

I am only level 14 but do some serious damage and can turn most mobs away from a level or 2 higher NS without taunt.

Any views? Blunt or Blade?

I like the blades for the CD styles etc, seem to do serious damage when u get the chain right.

Blades all the way m8 imo though pierce is still superb.

Blades better dmg on savages - nuff said if u wanna run a good bm gank grp coz they hit savages b4 support usually.

Also the best toa wep is battler (blade) - it recently got nerfed but still a tasty artifact.

I came back to play DAoC for the simple reason to roam around and explore ToA. I seem to enjoy my BM. I also started him from scratch with no help no cash pl just plain old DAoC fun. As far as weapons im not to sure what to use. Im only a lvl 12 BM but from experiance i know how fast a mob should die at a certain lvl. I tried to use 2 Falcatas but i find them fast but not to effective i am currently using a shortsword and a longsword just for some tests but if anyone could give me a detaild explanation of how i should go about it id really appriciate it. Also would 2 Crescent Swords be good for pve ?. As for my Skills its quite basic, 50 Blades 50 CD and 28 Parry so not much confusion there. As for RAs should i go similar to NS ? or Hero ? Thank for reading :touch:

Pierce is the best damage type in rvr, for bms, since most support classes from the other classes wear chain.. well all of them :m00:

RA's : Think most important RA is Determination ( decreases mezz , stun , root duration etc). Atleast in RvR. apart from that i dunno :>

bm is a good competative tank.

boring as fook to play though, but its all about opinion.

if you like running around whacking things then BM's will do the job.

Thats what it is about mate, for me anyways.

I played a druid in my last incarnation in DAOC and instead of standing at the back waiting for people to get whacked, i am at the front doing the whacking now :) transformed the game.
