Blueyonder probs?

Dithered as to whether to post this in the technation bit or here.

Anyways - is anyone else having probs with blueyonder broadband, especially the last 3-4 days?

Their service status page says there is a problem in Sheffield, but its a completely different part of the city.

I've been getting d/l speeds of 3-4k/sec (I'm on 512k) and every couple of hours it just gives up the ghost completely for an hour.

I'm on Blueyonder and the only problems I have are the usual shit download speeds and waiting forever for a page to load. I think thats because my router is badly configured though.

Well I finally sorted it.

Telewest chumps (no offence Will ) said to me "oh...you say you have a cable modem? We have you down as having a set top box here! Have you changed your account?"

No...not in three fucking years you dozy *****. Somehow they had got me down as having a spastic net box and the server of course was pointing to this box (that doesn't actually exist) instead of my cable modem.
