Lowest I have had was 10 on a CS server with 15 people on it

I get 25-30 usually, BY are constantly tweaking their network (sometimes by force ) but genereally pings seemt o be getting lower.

thnx for the info guys, i have BY cable (recently installed) SB4100 model. But i have had this trouble with my network. Its fixed now but, i need a blue yonder guy to come down and give me an IP to connect to.

Errr, Bblue Yonder's network issues IPs via DHCP.
Why do you need the BY engineer to give you an IP?
Maybe you are refering to your MAC address, which you have to phone up and register.

cos u see my PC screwed up, so i rebooted the whole thing and wiped the hard drive and every component installed. i USED to have an IP, but the bloke needs to come back and reconnect me!

Id doesnt matter if you reformat your computer, ive formatted my computer loads of times since getting cable and the process is always the same: Install your OS, install Network Card/USB drivers and reboot. Set the card to get an IP automatically <DHCP> and reboot.
Bang. Thats it.
There is no need for an engineer.
