It is understandable, with capped resists con hit ++, my kobbie runie gets away from a solo infil if i have full or near full hp/end. I never survive if 2 or more, or 1 infil 1 scout.

Wolf-Pack

hi,

You where prob target from one of our "wolf packs". Its cool and it works. SC has ruind the insta death attacks. I mean every caster walks around with +max hits, +max pierce resist, +max body resist & +max con. And the chance you get an insta death on a yellow of bigger is small.

So we figured a new tactick to beat the SC items, and that is the Wolf-Pack. How it exactly works I am not gone tell you, or atleast not here. But it involves a fg of people with stealth. Its fun, its deadly and we take out easily any 1fg of any mix. Also sometimes a 2fg.

To be fair, it's not really a new tactic. Same thing was happening when my main was in thid, same thing happens in emain. It can be fun going against equal numbers but the soloers tend to suffer (as my hunter has found).

I dont agree SC has ruined soloing as an assassin (whatever type) in the bg. Just get a nice weapon and armour crafted, sc it and your back on an even footing with the sc-ing casters.
I usually one shot casters if i pa right, even without poison. Dont seem to crit much on pa's though the other night hit for 400 dmg + 90 crit on top, even with a (-22) resist. That isnt anywhere near the max for a pa, guild mate hit for over 600 once.... With poison, con debuff, and bleed that'd be close to taking out any level 24 caster. :uhoh:

Running around in a stealth zerg is an easy way of getting rps, sure in the same way as running around in a zerg and eating up fg's one by one. I find it hard to believe it's any more rewarding than soloing or working in a duo though. Got stealth? use it....

As for asassins not able to solo...bullox. one-shotted about 15 mages in BG yesterday with my lvl 23 NS some might survie with a few hps left but thats only one more hit or let poison do it.

Can't see whats wrong with stealth groups though...why is asassins supposed to solo, why shouldn't they be allowed to team with other asassins just like any other class teams with eatchother? Sure it can be annoying with 4 asassins that team up, but it sure as hell are annoying when 4 BONEDANCERS team up too

ofcourse in bg its death easy to do and verry cheap if you have a main of 40+

a) farm some emrald seals, buy all the non craftable gear with it,

b) spend 200g or so on armour and SC'ing

It costs more to max your apropiate stats, resists, etc...
I had guild ac'er, weaponcrafter, and sc'er, and only paid materials for my outfit, still cost me about 600g to max everything i wanted with my runie. I don't think alot of people do this.
Would mention i didnt use any high lvl items, only items i could get with my runie.

Didn't cost me 600g to max my stats on my BG1 char.

Full set of mithril chain - all 98/99% spell crafted - no overcharge to keep the cost down. All done by / with the help of quild crafters and cost me not much more than 200-300g. I have maxed all appropriate stats and 5-8% resists in most lines.

This is easy and cheap - well cheap if you have a lvl 50 main to fund it. But no way I would spend 600g on twinking my alt for BG1, that is mad

i got all 99/mp af 50 leather on my NS all with max stats and high resists all 8% or over and all major spec lines +5 2 procs on my weps and a charge on my vest assorted high lvl jewelry and it DOES make a huge difference but for a price although i am a SC myself and did my own SC it still cost me around 550-600g to do all that. ( although making gems 99% so u can OC by 5 effectively is maybe a bit extreme )

im not one of these ppl who goes to thid caps out and starts again so i thought fek it ill go to town on my alt got plenty of cash to spare so why not use it

my advice if ya got it flaunt it and i rarely lose against a inf if we both miss our pa etc

Full set armour 42g cost 4 of 6 bits mp (helps if your a tailor and you dont mind sitting around making stuff for a while), weapons and sc without overcharge maybe 100-120g cant remember now (all from guild crafters except for one high level gem i bought). With high level jewelry - maxed hits, 3 stats, all spec lines, and 6 resists, rest of resists with about 5-6+% on them.

Cost more for the black dye than the armour itself
