If I reply to me blog posts, my post is bright blue with white text.

Not sure if this working as intended, but it couldnt be any worse of a contrast to read

I have the same thing, and actually decided it was Deebs' fault in the comments here: angels and demons - FreddysHouse

It appears to be a forum-wide setting, as it doesn't hurt my eyes when viewed in the default style. I guess someone will have to update the non-default themes.
