The old age mentioned is the game's old age, not the customers.
Every game runs it course and while some stick with a game until it gets "really old", but many will eventually grow bored of even a good game, meaning "life expectancy" and "old age"
(and yeah - there are older gamers then me, but I doubt there are many gamers who could be my grandparent considering my real life one is 87)

But your right games do age - some survive and mature - others die slowly others more rapidly.
