Wot has happened to this part of Freddyshouse? Dieing a death? Needs damn well shooting. I wonder why? Some forums are crying out for members (mine kinda) and you lot take it all for granted. Even so there is nothing being posted here it seems. Why is that? Not exactly sure. Pity really with such expertise available. Very odd.

Take what for granted? As far as i know the web dev section has always been relatively quiet compared to the other sections.
This is afterall a mostly game related forum. There was a new topic here just two days ago, it's not exactly dead. I would expect that those involved in web development and related topics use alternative dedicated/more active forums also.

New forum m8 - Odd forum too as it doesn't need a database. I have lost a great many members whilst redesigning my site upteen times. Outcome of it all - well I now have a great deal of knowledge available about a great many forums/portals. Also I have learned humility (well I think I have) which helps me keep a low profile. Join my forum m8 - yu seem ideal forrit. Don't forget however drunk or offit I seem to be I still have an amazing and exact brain. Yu seem lonely to me m8 - join the extremes. I ain't gonna wreck my site anymore for sure - solumn oath. Lets face it yu love battling with the 'King of Thid'. Far too much brain power for the likes of yu for sure.

Your website is bullshit. It has no other purpose than to pay you for whoever is stupid enough to click on your affiliated links. Then you come here whenever your pockets are feeling a little flat in the guise of asking for help with your website, yet it still looks as shit as it was the first time you came here.

How lonely do I look, coming on a geek part of a forum and asking people to register. I sure wish I had more friends. Well done for learning about internet forums and internet portals, this knowledge on this is admirable. The only reason my forum seems exploitative is once again it is new. I don't give a shit about affiliate links though I ain't gonna discount them as they are important to some peeps - including me. Peace bro. You only making an arse of yourself once more. Me, I have developed loads since we last met - u? Hell yu stuck in some time warp. Everyone needs to develop in some way or other m8 throughout life else they stagnate. Yu is stuck in some quicksand or other. Quicksand that keeps you in bleb land. Everyone can see it m8. The more you post the more it shows. I am willing to tutor you so that you can leave the swamp. Think how you will feel when you can lead a new life m8 - a much more rewarding life. Forums are pretty tricky to get going from what i've seen. Especially if you're starting a forum with such a general range of sub forums - There are lots of larger forums already which prove tough competition as it's hard to get people to post on an empty board.

Sorry. Steaming drunk again last night. Not sure what I was on about with regard to a stalker? I don't get drunk very often now but when I do I tend to go overboard.

Anyways as far as my site is concerned - and also in reply to hostile Clown too - it is a very large site and is still growing in size. It also has some unique features that I have developed. There is: Abandonware (free older games), Arcade Game Downloads and Flash Game playing, Opensource links - lots of links to free stuff, Software Downloads, Theme Displays - Joomla, Xoops and others, also Forum displays - with fast zip downloads (very popular section already), UK Shops, UK Shopping Offers. There is also Flash Chat and a TV & Radio page. First thing I do when I log on is enter the chat room - just need a nickname - then I put on some music which can be listened to offsite. Lots of the above are new and require tons of work yet so I will be kept busy forever. Quite a few sections run off a home server setup so that will be of interest to lots I should think.

As you can see it is a large site and all of the above will be linked to it's own section on the forum. Plenty of scope for an active forum. I will also be hosting DAOC film files.
