well, if it's backplane supports it properly then weight shouldn't be too much of an issue. I personally like the cooler for it's performance, but dislike it for it's size.
My next project will be watercooling for my borg cube, that's about it.

Problem is the weight of the cooler is going to tend to make it try and "hang" away from the core. I suspect it will work a lot better with the cooler in a horizontal orientation than the usual vertical of a tower.

Anyway, I'm happy with my waterblock. :D

Ive got the Asetek water cooling solution (pun) and it works quite well. Im thinking of putting fluorohydrocarbon in it instead of water but its a bit expensive. Maybe a simple UV light will stop the old algae.

I've got a Zalman flower (with the fan in the middle) plus the zalman gfx card heatsink + fan all in a Sonata case. It's very quiet - worst thing is the harddrive which is an Ata 133 and a bit noisy when it's chunking away. Otherwise you wouldn't know it's on if 1m away :)

My noisiest thing is the 9800 Cooler. I've stuck a Zalman 120mm fan over a Thermalright SP97 and can't really hear that in the voltage modded molex on the Sonata PSU :)

2500MHz, 1.65v, 40 degrees idle

You can get chemical biocides for your water cooling - the sort of thing you'd use in a swimming pool is ideal. UV isn't very effective as it'll only kill stuff in the water, not stuff on the sides of the tubing.

Mine was too, till I ripped the fan off. ;)

2600MHz, 1.9V, 28C idle. :x
