As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Dark Age of Camelot Shrouded Isles has changed to Friday 21 February 2003.

Dunno where you got the 15th from, AFAIK its always been 21st in the UK and 19th in euro for delivery, servers all live 21st.

its been said before but ill say it again.

Its the friday in the shops in the UK afaik,
rest of europe gets it on wednesday because thats their traditional release day.
probably servers will be patched on wednesday thats kinda GOA tradition
UK mail order companies are still saying wednesday.

hmm, new upgrade is cheap, got mine 2 gig processor and 512 ddr 333 ram , asus a7v333-x and fans and new tower with powersupply and costed 413 euros, and thats about nothing.

and still have muh old gf2 32mb ddr, and it runs great, just newest drivers to all , nvdia 43 drivers r most stable atm btw

Some stores still claim the instore date to be 15/02/2003

dunno whats going on but i think GOA should have put the release date atleast a week before patch day so we all could have SI before the patch for sure cuase i am going to be so pissed if the servers are patched and my preorder isnt in yet

it might run... but possibly not.

tip - don't take your main char into SI ... start a new char there just incase it doesn't want to load the zone.

Should run - just about, I've run SI on the US servers with a similar PC (p3, 500MHz, 384mb memry etc), but it's dead slow, loads of lag...wouldn't recommend it.

Looks nice though

Pre-ordered my copy today. Amazon.co.uk & 'Game', both quoting release date as 21/02/03.

Tbh m8, i've never heard the 15th Feb being mentioned as an option.

Nope game.net started as 15th, then moved it to the 19th, now to the 21st.
I got this from the emails as I have pre ordered it.

BTW I preordered this about 2-3 weeks ago.

At a mighty 619 meg I dont think many 56k modem people would be happy downloading it as a free patch

Took me 3 hours to download it on my DSL.

I'm in Canada, and play DAoC EU, and SI US. I use a P3 500, 256 MB and a GeForce 2 MX400. I have virtually no lag playing SI, not even on a keep raid. I do have lag playing DaoC EU. I think if you are in Europe, you will have less lag playing SI than you would if you were playing DAoC US. I just make sure SI is the only program running, and yes, I do have to turn effects off.

If you really want to play SI, but can't afford a new/upgraded PC, believe me, it's playable on a well-below-specs system.

It was never the 15th of Feb, game.net write a placeholder release date to make people go, "ooh, it's that date" When in fact they have no idea when the real release date is, when GOA announced a release date, game updated to reflect the true release date
