We came.

We conquered.

We waited.

We waited some more.

We built enough trebuchets to kill a herd of Elephants.

We taunted.

They came. Five times. :D

If it had been mid or hib taking an alb keep it would be:

We came.

We took <insert keepname>

We waited.

We waited.

We waited.

We waited.

We waited.

We left.

I LOVE this:D
What we had there in 10 mins for defence is what you have in your frontier in a month in total. We kicked you out of our frontier and that what its all about if you ask 95% of the mids. So what if we got killed a few times?? It happens all the time. We dont need walls to hide behind just for the sake of getting more RPs than the other realm(the alb way).
MID are the only realm defending our frontier and when we do it ALLWAYS end up in class 1 RvR.
Its no problem defending a keep, but you should try defending a realm(frontier).
So go home and celebrate your lame excuse for a wictory. We kicked you out and thats a win for mid.

Q) Who got DF 60%+ of the time??
A) The defending realm

Yes its kind of sad that Albs have to trumpet a victory like the Bled defence - but, Alb is in a state at the moment and its not easy keeping a decent number of Albs from running off and doing their own things.

This keep was defended for over 6 hours that I know of against 5 Mid attacks. The use of seige weapons and the following of orders from someone who isnt in your guild is something that doesn't happen every day in Albion sadly.

Hopefully, the good stuff I saw last night can happen more, becuase if it does then Alb can find a way back to some self respect.

There were 40 Albs in Odins, 4 in Emain, and 170 were farming inside DF (non anon Albs) at around 24:00 CET.
Guess that shows what is wrong with Albion :/
But then again, nothing to defend. When we had the relics, we defended it very well, till the Mids managed to find out how to set an alarm clock, and used elite skill to take the relics, bla bla bla...

Eeeh... you never told that it was over 100 albs in odin's/jamtland later.. 50 trying to take blendrake, 30 trying to take nottmoor and still you had several groups in odin's left.

Why would I feel the need to brag when it wasn't my raid? I don't. Read what I said...it was a taunt and it worked.

Wasn't about the rp farm, it was about havin fun and seems we had that.

Ooh and the zerg wasn't there the whole time :p that musta just been later on in the night. The point wasn't so much the keep take even, there was a lot of good (or better then previous) co-ordination going on all the way through it. Between guilds, between groups, between friends :p We had a lot of fun, that was what it was there for.

It wasn't self-gratification, it was originally a taunt, it worked, simple really.

Indeed. It was mainly the SS alliance that organized the keep take, and it turned out rather nicely in the end, just as we had hoped it would. :) (It sure helps when one of the GMs is a siege nut.)

one thing that pisses me off is that you can only pull this kind of fight off in midgard :(. As if you go to hibernia for keep take, means you have to survive emain first :(. Albion never gave anything about their keeps, if they have the relics they might a little bit. But if you take a midgard keep, you can be fairly sure you will get a fight. But as I am in midgard its kinda hard to take one of my realms keeps :(.

Yeah, Driwen, but the solution may be to take Renaris... With Mids so close to the teleport keep, I am sure the Alb zerg can be persuaded to come. :)

ok might give that a shot then :p. As then the albs dont even have to port for the action :) and the distance to the fight is even shorter and no waiting for port :).

I wouldnt bother, Albs didnt give a shit about their keeps when they had the relics and i bet they certainly wont give a shit now, things never change ^^

Mid and Hibs alliance do large scale raids over multiple keeps, An Alb alliance thinks its great because they managed to defend one keep and an easy one at that but i suppose they need to learn to walk before they can run.

Whole problem with Alb is theres loads of wannabe leaders but there isnt actually anyone with enough planning/People skills to actually make anything work.

Your supercilious comments are not impressing anyone, Mr Poon. When we lost the relics in the first place, I agree that Albs had become complacent and did not defend their keeps. However, during the week when we did have the relics, Albs were defending (successfully, I might add) their keeps with reckless abandon -- some of the best RvR in the Albion frontier I have ever seen. Saying otherwise is just being petty (which, I have come to understand, you are certainly not beyond -- btw, I thought you had left this game already?).

The purpose of this raid was to farm enemies and gain RPs -- and we certainly achieved that -- not to stage a relic raid. Besides, trying to take more than one keep would have spread us too thin when the inevitably huge Midgard army arrived.

You tried to take both Nottmoor and Blendrake but failed on both. At Nott you failed with about 35 people and 6 rams and I dunno how you failed at Blend, but you didnt get it.

Yeah, true, that was after we had defended Bledmeer and knocked back the Mids four or five times -- we thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the lull while you regrouped and get to Nottmoor. According to what I remember, we had 2 fgs of SS, 1 fg of Illuminati, and 1 fg of The Dragon-Fighters (i.e. 32 people, sounds about right), and yes, we had 6 rams, but the Midgard army moved swiftly that day and arrived just as we knocked down the last door. :) (As for Blendrake, I wasn't online at the time and had no part in it.)

You're a bitter moron, harping on with the same old jokes time and time again.

Look up originality in the dictionary and find out what you need to seriously spec in.
