Hi,
Many of you are probably aware of the guild Blade&Quill (maybe many more of you are not!) - we have been around on Excal from the first week or two of European DAoC. The time has (finally!) come for B&Q to actively concentrate on RvR activites and, as such, we are making an open invitation for new members who want to participate in organised RvR.
What we will require from prospective applicants:
1 - No bad attitude. First and foremost you're going to have to fit in to the guild - and that means you won't last long in B&Q if you aren't courteous and respectful to your guildmates and others.
2 - A high level char that you want to bring to RvR every time you log-in. Really, this should be a lvl50, but we'll consider highly active 47+ characters.
3 - A desire to work as part of a balanced RvR FG and to learn from your mistakes. A willingness to listen and to try new tactics. The patience and grace to explain any RvR insight you may have to the rest of your team. A hunger for RP's to increase your effectiveness in future RvR.
What prospective applicants will gain:
1 - Regular RvR in balanced FG's. The aim is to have enough RvR-focussed players to have a substantial, away-from-the-zerg presence in RvR every night.
2 - Inclusion in an old, large, well-established guild that is part of an open, friendly alliance. B&Q will never be purely an RvR guild as we have many old players who, frankly, love PvE raids. Although the focus of the guild will move towards RvR, we will still have many regular PvE events. Your alts will be welcome to XP with us. You will be made welcome to attend Sidi, Dragon, HoC and diamond-farming hunts with us.
3 - Hopefully (and, perhaps most importantly!) the rapid accumulation of RP's to further enhance your RvR capabilities.
All prospective applicants should PM me here on these forums. Please include details of the character you want invited (level, class and spec). There will be a period of two weeks during which RvR-specific recruitment will take place. After this two-week period, we hope to be a constant presence in the front.
Thanks for reading.
