Couldn't you pre-load it like most new steam games? You get it far quicker that way than queuing up with sweaty console fanboys.

You can, but you'd have to pay £40 for a new PC game that way. Bloody rip off.

A mate of mine waiting for Tesco to open for his 360 version, went to look at the PC version on Steam and its £40!!!??? Then I thought Zavi.com as its usually £15 or more cheaper for new PC releases than Steam but £40 again, tis nuts I am not paying that for a PC game. Will wait till either its comes down or I get it for Xmas.

Unless you live in the town then once you have paid petrol, parking, bus fare, train fare or whatever then there is very little difference in the price, another bonus of steam is not having to deal with the ghastly people that spend their time in town.

You let the cretins in town put you off stepping outside your front door?

Don't let them win!!

I get really angry with people in town, its one of my pet hates. People who just wander around with a vague look on their face, not really sure why they are there or what they want to buy. I do all shopping online if I can. When I do have to go to the supermarket I go late at night or first thing in the morning to avoid them all.

I now have a complete picture of Raven in my mind; it's not pretty.

Only Tory MP's pre- Major era. He's a traditionalist.

I bet he has a beard too.

I love some of the comments around this so far: "It feels more like World at war than mw2, shit" etc, etc.

World at War was good. Multiplayer wasn't as good as MW2 but the story made sense :p I'm enjoying the new game, character models are great and there are some subtle twists in the gameplay.

Love the SP so far best yet in the series.

The Blackbird mission was cool if only it lasted a few mins.

The Vietnam mission where you had to push the Napalm Barrels into the trench made me rage so much, took me pissing ages to realise those bloody things could be interacted with.

Oh and infinite respawning enemies are back it seems, oh how I've missed you!

That missions possibily took me around 4 hours on Veteran until i too realised you could do that.

Oh infinate respawn is only on that level i think because i haven't encountered it anywhere else.

Just finished the game on vet and wow that was fraustrating to say the least a lot more harder then MW2 which probably took me around 6 hours if that to finish in a straight sitting.

After the credits is a pretty funny thing to get you introduced to the zombie mode :)

Probably took me around the same amount of time, some of the insta kills on me were fucking shocking. Exhausted every route possible, tried shooting the barrels, nothing. Although I did manage to find a piece of intel by going the wrong way :p

Think you're right about the infinite respawning enemies though, haven't seen it again thus far and I'm up to the level escaping from
the Spetsnaz with that silly Nova 6 scientist.
Doing it on Veteran also btw, since I'm not a pussy etc.

Yup the insta kills are so fucking annoying that Nova mission where you are in a tank driving round a town omg i litterally died instantly many times.

Glad its over with now just play MP :)

One of the levels is in the White House, and each of the 4 players play a different US President, nothing else compares.
