Nope, more of the same. The online play is essentially a couple of extra maps and weapons isn't it?

Online shooters need to bring something new to the scene, its been stale for years.

The new online game types look pretty amusing, as does the zombie mode. Also the single players always worth a go even if it's rather short.

If it's under £30 in the supermarkets on release then definately

Nope, still haven't played MW2.

I don't like the ethos they're creating with this franchise, so i'll no longer support it.

I'd go with the Supermarket thing this year but i really cba getting there HOURS before midnight.

Last year i asked my GF to go Sainsburys because they did a good offer and its near where she works. She got there and there was 100s of people there.

I walked into my nearest big Sainsburies on the way home from work for MW2 - the had loads left. It depends how heavily they market it and how aggressive the pricing is.

I'll avoid this one for now I think, I'd only go for the SP so may as well just rent it when the drama has all calmed down.

Still haven't picked up MW2 for some unknown reason the price is so high even on the PC. I'll be giving it a miss, still playing Bad Company 2 and Borderlands for my FPS fix.

consol fps are for gays for a start! lets all be clear on that

MW2 would have been epic but they took away dedicated servers

black ops will basicly be MW2 without the massive fuck up,

atm cod4 is still more popular for touneyments and clan ladders than mw2 but black ops should change that

personaly can't wait!!

Yeah there's a game mode I want to try, something about getting exp and points for kills which you unlocks weap/camo's. And one game mode is Gambling where you can gamble that your team will win the round, when its 1 vs 3 left or something that would be wicked to do I think.

that's not new, that has been the norm since cod 4. (maybe before, I didn't play any of the other cod's)

yeah but the gambling on certain things during a match could make things uncertain, like getting a headshot on the final kill or something along the line of that.

I love some of the comments around this so far: "It feels more like World at war than mw2, shit" etc, etc.

Really? Well if you weren't pulled in by Activisions massive marketing campaign, you'd have realised that only the even numbered games are made by infinity ward, and hence this one will be shit.

You get the game quicker from Retail than a Steam pre-order :/

Bit harsh Treyarch do a good job in my opinion.
