Bit of ISDN trouble

okay i had an asus card in my old pc for ages, worked fine. went off to uni and came back with a new pc. i've installed the card using the drivers found at www.asuscom.com.tw because i cant find the cd anywhere.

software is loaded fine and the sys tray icon is a dark green for all 3 sections. i know that this goes to a lighter green when everything is connected up fine. so obviosuly everything isnt conneccted atm :/

i assumed the wire had been buggered whilst i was at uni cos the end was covered in paint and its been shoved under the carpet so i went and got a new rj45 cable. still no luck, same dark green isdn monitor.

rang bt (im using homehighway) and had them do a linetest and they say everything is fine at there end.

so im stumped as to what the problem can be.

do i need more software than what i have currently? i know theres terms such as capi and ndiswan out there but i have absolutely no idea what they do and if i need em!

any help/tips/ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated and would get me off this 26k connection! :)

thanks in advance guys.

you need to install the capi driver from your cd I think. Its been a while since I had an ISDN, but I remember having to do this as it sets up the ISDN card as a virtual modem or should I say modems as I used to get lots of different types.
