'VIP abuse' accuser jailed for 18 years

what's the concensus......... is this an establishment warning...

i don't know if this abuse ever happened but 18 years seems a bit extreme.. is this just for lying or is it for the images he got caught with.......

Oh you made a thread about it!

I think he got the lengthy sentence because of the people that he targeted.

so the sentencing guidlines are relative to who gets accused... nice

Nah, that's not the guidelines, but I'd imagine that's how it works in practice.

People in public life who get accused of this shit get their lives finished, and their lives finishing will also make big news.

But if someone who isn't known (happens in teaching ALL the time) gets accused, then their life is ruined but it won't make headlines.

I just feel like it must be relative to who the accused is.

Tbh, I was surprised that they weren't lenient on him due to his history and the fact he clearly isn't a mentally well man.

Not seen many women who make false rape allegations go down for more than you can get for murder tbh.

But not crying many tears either.

Given it's pretty much the worst accusation you can make against a man, it can put you physically in danger (because of fuckwits) and even when the accusation goes away people dont forget it; nah, pretty reasonable

https://brave.com/ there's an ios version, and I've just tested it out on my ipad going to the local newspaper's ad-infested website and it was perfectly usable (though the content was still crap)

Absolutely reasonable. He destroyed dozens of peoples lives for no other reason than narcissism. Leave aside the child abuse images.

You don't get less for murder. You get life for murder in English courts. You may be paroled earlier, but the sentence is still life.

The more I read the media fest...the more I feel thats exactly how it would play out if the men in grey had a secret meeting to bury the accusations and destroy his character.
