if you start crying about it you wont be able to stop.

Was going to write out a load of expletives. That comment angered me so much. But I'm not going to stoop to the level of a 10 year old.
Just go away. Please.
Lamp said:OK. I must have misinterpreted what was said.
As for your last comment, quite the opposite. I personally knew someone who was injured from Thursdays events, and was at Liverpool Street when the bombs went off.
I don't think this is a laughing matter. Anyone who wants to inject humour or make light of heart of the situation needs therapy.
I make no apologies for being sensitive at this time given that I am still affected by Thursdays events. I should of course direct my anger to those who perpetrated the murders. Any collateral aggressiveness is unintentional;
We all know a significant number of people who post regularly on these boards post insensitive offensive (and occasionally racist) comments. To these I direct my scorn. I could name names here, but refuse to give these shites any further attention.

It all depends on the person and their outlook on life. I know of two people (albeit indirectly; they were friends of my brother) who actually died in the incident. They were 27 and 28 (I think). Just because I reacted to the attack with anger and a nice dose of dry humour doesn't mean I don't feel sorry for their families or loved ones, it is just how I handle stressful or unpleasent situations.
If the bomb or whatever had gone off in brummieland and killed loads of people then, yea, Brite's comment would have been uncool but it didn't so ease off on the criticisms.
There is a difference between laughing your ass off at a tragedy and using humour to help deal with the pain/stress/fear of an incident like this. Anyway, isn't inappropriate humour in the face of a huge disaster a trait the brits are famous for?![]()
