So, i'm pretty far. I've gotta escape from Atlas whatever his name is, theres a massive hall with a lift in the middle, and it needs a code.

It's called ''Get the lot 192 remedy'' and i can't find the code ANYWHER for this damned lift. This is the only spoiler i want, i've not died on this game YET, touch wood.

Does anybody know the code?

hit me

You proved my point.

If you ain't listened to any of the tapes in the game I can guarantee you've missed out a HUGE chunk of the game!

you've been skipping the tapes? bummer dude, I'd certainly replay. there's a huuuuuge amount of background and extra information about what's been going down in Rapture stored in them!

Isn't there an in-game option to listen to the tapes you've previously listened to though?

But yes, listen to the tapes and write anything you need down so you don't have to do things like this again :D

The suffering...with Torc the main charascter trying to escape from a prison island? Awesome game, not like bioshock though :D

Yeah thats it!

Omg who do you think you are! ;) Just the gameplay, with the flashback images and so on reminds me so much of the game, the FPS with the aimer and shit it reminds me so much of Torc!

damn 10 minute edit timeouts :/ triple post madness!

while you got me going....um, Bioshock. it's pretty, I like the idea of the setting and the way you can change your capabilities to fit differing scenarios, the story that I've seen so far is great, and then it stops for me. Pretty, good story, and then it's just kill the bad guys, get the thing, combine with other thing, repeat. I'm a smidgen disappointed tbh. I think I was expecting more puzzles and visual coolness. I dunno, I guess I'm somewhat bored with the zap-n-wack splicer killing, and hoping you come across a little sister (ooh err). Still, it's an FPS and it delivers, can't fault it that. What do you think?

I was wrong: pull up the map screen > click the tape icon ; you can review all your tapes sorted by location!

I do see the similarities between this and the suffering - the gameplay mechanics aren't nearly the same though :)

how is The suffering 2 btw? I've never got around to play it.

Pretty much a straight expansion for the first one to be honest mate. If I remember right, there were a lot more cut scenes and such but underneath, it's the same engine, same design and just a couple of new enemies. Worth a play if you liked the first one anyway :)

Hard difficulty was stupid. Because of the nano chambers there is no danger and I found out that pretty early on in the game there was a severe lack of cash/ammo around so it often turned into a hit and run x5000 on the big daddys. Then all of a sudden, just as you think you've perfected that technique, you'll have so much ammo you wont know what to do with it.

That was one of the big problems I had with the game :(

Well then wrench it up a little!

I was always conservative with my ammo since I didn't like using the wrench much.

Plasmids on the otherhand I abused like a complete bastard.

Electrocuting splicers in water has that subtle finesse to it.

If you get that wrench perk thingy majiggy. They 1 shot most stunned slicers if you hit them to the head, i think, if i remember rightly, thats all i use is the wrench. Armor piercing bullets for big-daddys and my shlong for the little girls.
