Anyone watching this? Screens on BBC1 at 10:45 pm on Wednesdays, and shows a guy who is truly awesome.

Noel Fitzpatrick is a pioneering vet who is pushing the boundaries in using technology to repair people's pets... you may have seen the news stories about a cat with replacement feet after losing his rear feet to a combined harvester - he is the guy who did it.

Why am I so interested? He gave my dog a bionic knee ligament which was awesome.... if she hadn't then gone on to tear her other knee she'd be bounding round like a puppy ;)

Definitely worth a watch for any pet lovers :)

Am I the only one who was thinking of a vet that can bounce up trees to rescue cats, and use extendible arms and all that, from the thread title?
Not seen the program, but read up on the guy and seems pretty cool stuff, and definitely some good progress being made there.
