Been using it for a couple of days, so far seems to be an improvement on standard google. This however is mostly because its not filled with links to buy shit whenever you type in something, which I'm sure will change over time.

Anyone else tried it?

I don't like the brand. Google is too firmly ingrained.

Here's a weird thing; if you click on the Maps button on Bing, you're taken to Multimap, which is a bit odd given Microsoft has the excellent Live Maps service (more up to date than Google IMHO). And even weirder, if you go directly to Live Maps (maps.live.com), its been rebranded as Bing! WTF???

Makes me think of that gimp from Friends and therefore causes rage.

Yes, and it's getting right on my left nadger. It's bloody everywhere, like a rash. Also, prefer Google just because it's so firmly ingrained into my brain.

That's up to you lot, but as I said, for now I'm actually getting better results with Bing. Whenever we search for technical shit in the office, all we ever get with google is "Wanna buy it, huh? Yeah? Yeah you wanna buy this, come on, BUY BUY BUY!!!" which is a shame... oh or wiki-fkn-pedia.

I've been throwing most of my geological and engineering searches Bing's way, over all I'm getting better results over Google. But then I have Google ringing every week trying to get me to fork out a few sheckles in order to get better search results on my buissness.

Started to actually use it a bit more and finding it similar to others - rather good.
Bit of a shock if anything as it appeared absolutely out of nowhere and was instantly everywhere, which is why I think I got the hump with it straight away :)

I've used it for a few searches, isn't that bad. Though, the video preview with sound thing is quite nice. Helps especially with music.
