Many thanks to all my great guildmates in Silent Death, and all my friends in Hibernia - far too many to list - I have never for a moment regretted picking this realm, all those months ago.

And it wasn't ALL solo: it was just solo to 47.5. Then two trips to the fins (14 bubbles), two trips to the knights with Falcon's expeditions (4 bubbles or so), a great expedition to DF with Boo's party (1.5 bubbles), a Legion raid (0.5 or so) and then back to solo for that last final struggle up to the top. So thanks to all who came out in those groups and let a gimpy elf ranger take the spot of a "real" tank.

I just wanted to say thanks again for all the nice comments in this thread. When all is said and done, your character, its abilities and items, are only entries in a database; the only rewards you actually get to take away from the game are the fun you have, and the friendships you make in the "community" you help to build. This is more my prize for reaching level 50 than the epic armour.
