Basically, my CDR/DVD combo stopped writing CDs. I e-mailed them, within a day they e-mailed me back saying I should request an RMA.

I did so, they said they'd send me out a new drive. Monday morning, as good as their word, a brand spanking new drive for free.

Now I got a spare DvD drive that I can give to the gf so we can watch DvDs in bed, and a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart that comes from a company who's fixed a problem within a week.

P.S You want a drive? Go look at theirs. Had no problems for two years, it breaks, they fix it. Gotta love it :)

I'd definitely support Plextor too. I've had their drives in the past and they've always been innovative and very reliable. It's nice to know their customer support is up to scratch too.
