Wondered if anyone can help me out. I've just returned to DAOC after 9 months.
I now have a new pc, athlon 3000, 1.5GB Ram, 128MB Radeon 9800 Pro GFX card. I am running over ADSL with BT Openworld, on a speeedtouch 330 USB.
However, I'm lagging to hell & back. examples of which are I stick on a friendly and when they run off I either run straight past them in a straight line for ever, or I stop dead and lose the stick.
I also seem to die before I even see the enemies.
I've checked all my drivers etc, and they are all up to date. It does seem to be the connection thats the issue. I read about USB using batch or isochronous methods of data transfer, could this be part of the issue?
