i dont think many of you get what a gay icon is. the hoff and tom selleck are far from gay icons.

judy, liza, barbra, bette, these are names you shan't forget!

personally, i've always loved liza minnelli. she can sing, dance, act, and shes all round fabulous. in fact, i've asked for 'Liza with a Z' for christmas, as it's being rereleased!
dolly parton is great, so is cher. so is bette midler and judy garland and barbra streisand and many strong female "characters". kath & kim are also gay icons, believe that or not
