Bicycle's brakes squeeching

Anyone know how to stop this? They work fine but everytime you press one in, you hear a loud squeeching noise.

It's getting on my nerves.

Already tried WD40 etc. but had no effect.

Anyone got any ideas?

IIRC You need to "Toe them in" which means setting them up so the front of the break pad hits the rim before the heel.

that, or just buy new pads as the once you have are prolly worn and squeech due to that.

And tbh rofl at putting WD40, why not greece them up properly so they have no grip at all? should make em squeech less aswell

like people said buy new break pads.... certain types will squeek... or try wear them in more.... sand paper speeds up that process
