The Glory Boyz (Gbs) from Ad Glorium will be fielding a group as usual, and as usual will roam not zerg

I myself cannot be online til late, but will come along to mop up what my fellow Albions leave behind!

Mids I know will make a good showng....shame the wimpy Hibs can't muster anything

OK so the hibbies turned up (and the mids did not...realm defence I think....are there really no mids lvl 35 that are not alts ?) and <cough> owned us....friggin instants. If you have never played a char without instant stun/mezz then you really don't realise the frustration that you have to run in....stop wait a fraction of a sec due to cant cast while moving issue....hit qc then spell and while doing all this u get a chanter/bard run at u insta stun, stop and have all the time in the world to nuke u 2-3 times poss more if his pets on u too. I think you had 2 chanters last night...so our chances were slim.

There was some good surprise back attacks though....credit for that....but fg vs fg face to face is just friggin useless for albs vs hibs even in BG3. So please don't whine in the future when Albs use numbers to win....it really is there only chance it seems.

However this won't stop Ad Glorium still roaming with 1 fg and we'll still try to take on those hibbie groups fg vs fg....there must be a way to win....surely.????? Just can't see my why past stopping that instant stun.....apart from resists.....which I will be trying

Roll on 1.6...bolt range mezz and lotsa of other alb loving....none of which addresses instant stun though.

The only instas hibs have even at bg3 level, are insta debuffs, champ DD's and an insta DoT on VW's.

I was there last night - hibs got wiped just as many times as the albs. In a FG vs FG stand off albs came out on top aswell just as often as we did. Maybe you werent fighting our group but I didnt see any other hib groups roaming round there.

Yeah but he would have lowish nurture spec for his level, if he had specced to 29 music.
Groups want end/mana song and some heals from bards, not some stinking mez to draw out xping.

Ok so it was a single instant mezz....so what, my issue on instants still stands. I'll say they were wise to always aim for me as the main mezzer on Alb side......but that said I could not mezz the bard I could see coming for me coz he could do it on the run....where as I had to stop, wait a mo, qc cast mezz.....by which time i was always mezzed.

Again...if anyone can come up with an answer let me know....except wait til 1.6....I know i get 1875 range mezz then ...not sure that equals out the instant stun issue though, coz 9 secs of nuking is enough to take most any mage down.
