BG3: Oh dear

Just spent the last few days runing around bg3 usually in a grp of 6, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Not much showing from the mids, was at the weekend which was good but they got a bit of a hammering mid-week. They get mucho respect points for making an effort and roaming around the bg however, unlike..........

Albs.... still after all this time, after so many different characters they just havent got the guts to get outa the damn keeps. Hide with the guards if u want guys. Whatever floats your boat. Is it a realm thing, do u get trained in it @ lvl 5? Coz every server I've played on does it...... And yes I have played on Alb Excal b4 u flame.

I saw you in your little caster zerg group running around speedily chasing down 2 or 3 middies, taking out what albs were there and then heading off to atk like hibbies always do. Just because you have a group to back your ass up, doesnt make you the judge of all other players. If you really feel the need to whine like every other hibbie or mid does about alb then at least spend longer than 2 mins composing a bloody a thread with some originality...

Had some fun nights in BG 3 over the past few days...

Tuesday - the albs took the CK from the mids. We tried to cause some havoc whilst they were killing the lord, but failed. Later that night we took the CK. When the Albs tried a retake they almost succeeded, but were beaten back on the stairs.... fun, fun, fun

Wednesday - Albs took back the CK, not many mids about. Our grp was roaming around like we always do trying to find some decent action that doesn't involve camping. Had a few decent fight with the albs/mids along the way, but mainly the albs were wall hugging... cant be much fun. You had the same numbers as us if not a few more, why not come out for a fight?

Pretty much capped out of BG 3 now, thx to all for some good fights, cya when we're big boys

Timber - Having a grp backup your ass is why they have 8 group slots and not 1 in DAOC. Yes we attacked the albs whilst they were crossing from the PK to CK, it's the only place out in the open we could catch you!

dude, I dont mind the zerg/group thing bud, infact I welcome seeing people working together ! , its just Schyte was moaning about albs that got my back up - all day, every day people flame albs and it annoys the fuck out of me.

Ok, heres a new angle for you. For our perspective, it looks like everyone else goes to the battlegrounds to do some pre-50 rvr. Except 90% of the albs who go there to the let guards get them their realm abilities their realm abilities.

Feel free to creatively and constructivly argue against it, you'll find very little evidence to support your actions.

Secondly, I didn’t hint at originality or comedy, my intention was to insult a typically arrogant non alb, who attempts to look at an entire realm with very closed eyes & tars them with one stereotypical brush.

And "our perspective", I mean those few words just shows how fucking anal you are, you speak for every non-alb I assume? You mean that there is not one single idiot from your realm who enters the BG’s? ...Well? You haven’t seen a single realm mate or middy hide behind an npc guard? bollocks, total arrogant bollocks.

Its attitudes like yours that are part of what’s fucking up this game as much as the Muppets who do actually fuck around. Its the DAoC "I’m l337, you suck", "play by the *unwritten* rules or I'll sulk" attitude which hails from RR5+ idiots (a minority admittedly but they tend to shout the loudest...) who think just because they've done this a little longer than most, that they know best.

Fuck you, fuck your "elitist" attitude and if you don't enjoy the BG when albs have the CK, then don't go there.

Yes because battelground rvr is exactly the same as bg rvr. You get very very few bots in the bgs.

i wasent saying BG is the same as real rvr, i was responding to him implying ppl who use buffbots are "lame". On excal its a necessity for a solo player, the real lame people are the ones who deny they have one. Bit like the ones who deny they zerg.

I think the removal of buffbot would be an improvment to RVR, you can count the number of healers in alb on 1 hand and the numbers of buffers in the hands of the typical alb zerg numbers.

I was 22 nurt 24 reg for bg3 i think (ok, not entirely reg specced but will be 35/41 by 50).


I know that a lot of the main buffer classes from every realm have been reduced to buffbots, but some people still actually play them as the grp class they are meant to be.
