Albs were attacking keep with some defenders inside. albs got 2 doors down. then we had to defend de keep for 3 hours without doors! we had at least 3 caveshamans AE-dotting like mad and an SM huging the lord. Lord was buffed till the toes of course. one time when SM had to log. the lord killed 5-6 albs that were attacking him (after i AE-dotted the albs but got killed 3 secs after that).

We couldn't get out cause at that time we had about 10 mids max defending the keep against 2FG albs at least.

But we killed them when they entered the keep, with help from guards of course. it was a ping pong all after noon. But albs didn't succeed killing the lord with 2fg's.

In the evening we got reinforcements from more mids and the we could close the doors eventually. but albs kept coming and splintered the doors fast.

Then i had to log, when i checked /who caledonia later there were 18 mids in caledonia! so i hoped we could get the albs of the gates.

Earned 1700rp's with my lvl35 caveshaman Bloodsnot. Rezzing/healing/AE-dotting al the way.

And in the evening albs got some trouble from some hibs to.

/cheer to mids/hibs/albs for a great BG3 day.

Albs kept trying, mids kept surviving we all wanted to win the war we all didn't wanted to lose.

Albs would of got that keep easy if they had the Stealth grp they had last time, FG of infils kill all rezzing classes in CK so no worrys about defence then :)

no, albs would have got that keep if ppl wernt so bloody lame, from a mid pov it was probably heroic defending, but from an alb attacker (sorc) pov (mine) it was the worst keep raid (at ANY level 25-50) iv ever been on, clerics not buffing cos theyr just plain lazy, rezzers not rezzing, stealthers not sorting themselves out and ganking casters inside (doors were open no need to climb walls).

In general albs couldnt have taken that keep if it was neutral with no lord ffs.

Diabolical.

you forgot the part where the abls took the keep unless this was another day - I was with 1 fg in bg3, only one able to operate a ram - got the doors down, but there were too many guards+defenders :p so the doors were open for 3 hours until we got backup and tried just so many times... Until we got up to the keep lord and schmacked him. Then of course the mids come back after a few hours to retake the keep...

hehe chilly, i can only agree to this, a lot of albs behaved really stupid ^^
me and onisey portet out a few times together killed one and ported back, a lot of albs just seemed afk or something, cause when everyone would have attacked us mincer stunned etc i think we could not pull this off :p
or when coming to the lordroom the albs always came in small grps, not all together, only one time it seemed coordinated with an ice wiz pbaeing the way up.
but we died a lot too, and our healers and shamans were always low on power :p

but i think it came together, really wasnt bad from the mids. too bad im 36 now :( was really fun, well would have capped soon anway.

I enjoyed it immensely; it seemed to me that we (Mids) were only just hanging on to the keep and that the Albs would take it at any moment.

I did think it was funny when Albs stormed the keep and we all got killed only for us to port back and kill the (last few) Albs in the Lord Room :)

It was the shamans (particularly Bloodsnot) that kept the Keep defence going; wicked buffs, wicked heals and nice rezz’s! It was also good to see a shed load of hunters on the battlements harrying the casters and good coordination with the SB (Guinevere?) to keep the infils at bay.

Yup, /salute to the middies who put up a fine defence. As for albs going up to the lord room a few at a time... some of us were trying to tell people in the chat group (although newcomers weren't getting into the chatgroup as 90% of the albs there just ignored anyone who asked who had cg), in broadcast and /yelling REGROUP IN COURTYARD FIRST... unfortunately there were always a few who hadn't taken their Ritalin, then a few sheep who followed them, then the rest trying to make the best of a bad job when the inevitable happened. Mids definitely had their act together better.
