comon lads have some sympathy im tehre with my 15 druid and every time im rezzed i have another arrow in my back.. enough is enough at least let me lose rez sick first

The huge ammount of hunters is hilarious, its quite refreshing to see archers owning again.

Actually keeping albion at their pk. Even when the other mids have moved back to the central keep the albs just stay up in their keep as the path forwards is littered with hunters companions and god knows what else.

True........ though the really annoying thing is the pet; especially for other stealthers - quite typically the Mythicgards fave little realm has yet another "insta" get out jail free card.... though a wise stealther ganks the hunter, not the pet.... (as I learnt the hard way cos I 'aint wise ;))

I played a hunter and its great, you never have to fear an assasin again. I had high stealth so I spotted them as or before they saw me, insta pet (unstealths me but nevermind). Pet runs at them and attacks, they usually run away and I finish them with arrows. If they run at me I just run off and they are left with a wolf chewing them whilst chasing me.

Although I do agree that the hunter is now by far the best archer (at least at bg level).

This happened to me once - the counter to this is to PA(Garrotte if they see you and leg it) with snare on main, debuff on off hand and then switch to fastest off hand blades with dot on. Hunters usually drop before the pets can do any real damage.

Oh and I played a hunter in the closed beta in a guild called "Winters Breath" , they were stupidly over powered back then....ahhh happy days...

BG3 ull see that hunters r very easy to kill what they normally do it insta pet run off , what to do is run off in sprint then hide round a corner, if they can bow you they will follow. What i done was run round MB stone (next to bridge) the silly hunter follows , if u still got end from running, once the hunter comes round you kill them np's cos they cant use there bow and hunters pet miss/get evaded by infils and there spear doesnt hurt much :)

okies will give that a go :) the only other things that give my inf trouble is <snarls> bonedancers and <groans> shadowblades

Bone Dancers are usually cocky enough to stray from the group - if they do, a well timed PA with disease will be your friend, switch to debuff/dot and rinse. NEVER run away from them as the pets will nuke the crap outta you and chase you down.
In worse case scenario, take the Skeletal Commander out quickly.

As for Shadowblades pfftt... NS's are worse.

aye disease sounds good as they should only heal for half... bleh a stealther is such a hard job.. duno why ppl whine when we gank them.. we earn it

Not to mention the hard time we have in PVE to even get there...

hehe, I never keeel anyone that I 100% know has Rezz sickness :D

SB's are getting nerfed anyway :D 40% i heard :) mwhahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..although..hunters are getting a bit better..

Actually SB's arent getting nerfed, Critblades (the REAL SB) will function in the exact same way and deal the exact same damage. Mythic just thought it was a bit odd that shadowzerkers could pop out of stealth, tank someone to death with poisons etc and then stealth again - I personally agree with them.

Its not technically the SB's that are getting nerfed its the LA cause albs bin crying at mythic that zerkers are hitting to hard with it so as albion is the highest population of players mythic dont wanna upset them and so are swinging the nerf bat at LA dropping its dmg by 30-50%.
As a spin off this is gonna hurt the shadowblades as well,bit of a crappy thing really if u ask me (and yes i got a SB) when you take into account a bloody staff was out dmg my sbs LA by about 30 dmg a hit,bet mythic dont nerf that cause its an alb toy ;)
Luckily my SB is only 17 and i specced him heavily in LA+Axe+Stealth and pretty decent poison so at 20 im gonna try a respec from LA into CS with a 2h axe,heavily into the poisons and see how a 2h poison critblade does?
any thoughts?Any1 got a Critblade,hows he/she do in bg?

I remember Winter's Breath......seems like years ago.

Didn't you all go to Hib after the first big character wipe because you couldn't face getting up to level 7 on your chars again? :p

Seriously though, they were the good old days :)

Galille did half of BG as a 5spec, and half as a CS. (Was back when we got a free re-spec from some patch or other).

Crit works fine for bg, although not as fun imo.

5-spec is gimpy at lvl24, not enough spec points - Im disappointed in you vell... :p

Critblade is a lot of fun at first, "wee i just one-shotted that caster/archer and it was soo damn easy" but then it gets a bit annoying, and its tough to beat other assasins and practically impossible if they get the jump on you.

Nah we moved across to Alb just to try out a different realm after a server reset - I would have stayed in Mid otherwise, I loved it there.

Then when the open beta came along, Balnor/Hoth/Son/Others and I moved across and Celtic Fist was born - I remained in hibbie land for about 2 weeks before I had to finish building my house (how rude of real life to get in the way ;)) and, to be honest, didnt really like Hib...... only this Christmas just passed was DAoC fired up and now I'm an alb & quite enjoying it ;)

Those who say sbs are easy didnt meet me at bg :p
Only lost 1 fight solo to an inf from bg1 to bg3.
My best highlights were: 2 infs,
blue con pally-yellow arms,
sorc-cabbie-mincer,
2 buffed infs while i was unbuffed,
4 casters while the rest of the alb zerg was fighting the other mids :p
and a yellow pally inside the keep :)
Most dmg was 510+240 crit on a sitting theurg :p

So basically once LA gets the nerf bat SBs are gonna be little kobbie puffs and wont have the dmg ability to do anything anymore?
I still have some very close fights with LA working,so im gonna be screwed with 30-50% less dmg
