BG medal

Just wondering if anyone else had problems getting medal after completing a bg? I just hit rp cap on bg3 today, and have participated in 2-3 keep takes, and even got the message 'you have completed the keep raid part of Caledonia quest'.

When i go to Ostaden in Jordheim he says that i have to prove myself by aiding in a raid on an enemy merchant keep...

Nope, my friar capped from Thidranki on the same night Albion took the CK, he got his medal and a nice 10 bub XP bonus.

I think you had to participate in a successful keep raid AFTER patch day.

Remember you also have to be within range of the keep (ie when you get the message "You have just entered Caer Caledon") and still be alive when the lord is killed.

After next patch you'll still get reward if dead and in range though.

Oh and the keep had to be held by an opposing realm for at least 45 minutes before you take it back.

sounds like you're going to the wrong merchant - that's the level 35-40 one

True for BG1 at least, I was on 3.5 bubs when I capped, handed the medal over and was all of a sudden L25 with just about 3 bubs - total XP reward was something like 45 million. Not sure about the other BGs though.

That's over my cap for lvl 43 Well I'll have to try and manage it in one of the bgs with one of my characters

YEah i cleared it up, seems i only missed a small writing in Ostadens dialog box

Anyways yes you get a full lvl of exp no matter which bg. I turned in the medal at lvl 35 with about 8 bubs. Got 1 bill exp, and ended up at lvl 36 with about 7 bubs. So it's extra nice at higher bg's

Added incentive to use BG2 and 3 then. Get some handy RAs and a stack of XP to boot.

They'll still be empty though.

people been using bg3 on excal for ages now

only bg2 is deserted

prydwen needs to take some initiative, bg3 was 'reactivated' when a guild regularly went there and announced such before hand, ever since it's been fairly active
