BG challenge to mid/hib

I'm going to organise a full 8 man group of albs and we will challenge Any 8mids or hibs to a battle . this is not a duel it will be a fight to the death, ONLY 8 men per group and once you have an organised Full group PM me and i'll organise a time/day and place in a v quiet area of thidranki "or elsewhere" for the battle to commence .

this is meant as just to be a little bit of fun to take away the ussual boredom of zerg vs small group or zerg vs zerg . and imo 8v8 will be mucho fun so any mids/hibs out there think they can beat an 8man alb group bring it on

of course it will be a fight to the death when a bunch other people (not in the 8v8) see 16 people fighting each other... all thats comes to mind is "AOE MEZ" and you dead

there is no way you would pull off a 8v8 without someone coming along to kill you all.. only way you are going to do it is if you have it in the very late hours of the morning when all the n00bs/retards and just the totally stupid people are in bed (mostly all the kids that have got school the next day)

Theres a LOT of places where a battle like this can bedone .. of the whole area in bg i'd estimate only about 70% of the bg area is used . there are some spots that NOBODY seems to rvr at . hence only problem for us would be getting the 8man groups to the named area before other albs/mids/hibs spotted them and wiped them out

its worth a try anyway like i said its just a bit of fun . and prolly more fun than the zerg fest we ussually see in Thidranki

Count me in Yoda, and to where to fight the BG is alot bigger than most think on albion island there is loads of room that i bet most dont even know about.

it sounds like fun - i know plenty of hard ass BG players.

however................. i also feel that unless its done in ungodly hours, i cannot imagine how u will get to a place without

XXXX infs, scouts and shadowblades turning up

i mean, on 2 occassions i have duelled armsmen, in a place we both thought was safe

once i was ganked by a scout
the other i was ganked by an inf

while resting

now i have no problem with the getting ganked part, i accept that as a risk of the duel, however what im saying is, there are THAT many stealthers, and such a sheep mentality in thid, that when 8 people slope off, some1 will say, "hey, where are they off to, lemme go see".

and how do u envision the battle or rules or suchlike working?
because all it will be, will be

mids bow
albs bow

mid healer does AE mezz, mid runie roots another 1

mids win - or

alb sorc does AE mezz, alb minstrel mezzes another 1

albs win - or

hib... etc

you get my drift.

more mezz classes on 1 team will win....no matter of tactics, spreading out, and using all your guile, because an 8 v 8, with both groups in sight, no surprise or room for maneuvre is an unatural game situation and comes down to mezz spamming.

still, with all that said, i am still up for it, i shall be the dwarf near the back with a teal cloak, if you dont immediately recognise me, follow the path backwards of the two bolts that just flew from my hands to kill your sorceror while he was trying to mezz our group.

Most of the quiet areas are quiet because they are covered in mobs, that may be a problem.

However it sounds like a great idea, if theres room id love to be there with my shammie.
