MOHAA is quite hard id say, but fun sometimes

BF is easier and always fun

RTCW is my fav MP game of all time, shame hardly anyone plays it anymore, not tryed ET yet though.

go for BF before MOHAA

Ok what you need to do is go and buy yourself a copy of BF1942, Install it and then download Desert Combat (a BF1942 mod which uses modern day warfare). Once this is installed you will never look back.

To make things better there is now a Vietnam mod out called Eve of Destruction.

Although I do like TDCs idea.

Yes Enemy Territory is on the BW ftp's somewhere

And so are the mods for BF1942

Enemy Territory = Good, though dunno about self life (as it were ).
BF1942 = prolly the best option if you only want one game.
Desert Combat = bloody aweful, dunno why they go on about it.

Truth is, 2 of the 3 games you've mentioned there are free, so fuck it, why don't you get them all ?


Ohh I forgot MoH ? Quite good Single Player, but the multi-player is officially Not All That, and rife with cheats from what I hear

I went for BF never looked back.

But I DL RTCW ET and I got MOA I prefer RTCW ET to RTCW as its more fun, not not many TK's

Sorry to piss on you all with my wisdom but MOH is a far superior MP game to BF1942 which is an awful travesty of a game benefitting only from novelty. MOH single player is mind-numbingly dull. Really. Not a trace of exaggeration. It's foul. However multiplayer it plays surprisingly well. I prefer it to any other semi-realistic FPS including BF, CS and edging DoD out too.

Again I must stress the heart-rending shoddiness of the BF gameplay experience and the MOH single player irritation-a-thon.

I don't know what games designers are coming to. If it wasn't for occasional gems like GG XX I'd give up games.

Thus endeth the lesson.

Well I Just DL RTCW ET and yeh its OK but the servers I was on where very poor with the ping sop maybe that put a dampner on things
